Christina & Romulo’s Story
Where do I begin? I first met Christina when I was just 13 years old. It's wild to think I've known her for more than half my life now! As a kid, I moved frequently, and eventually, we lost touch. For many years, we only kept up on social media, but when I announced my business was relocating to Columbus, GA, she reached out to let me know she lived just one town over. How crazy is that! Not only that, but our baby girls are only five months apart.
Her husband contacted me to share the exciting news that they were expecting their second baby, and he wanted to surprise her with an intimate gender reveal. He and I planned everything together, and once everything was ready, he let her in on the surprise. Since they lived close by, we met up so they could give me the envelope with the gender inside, and I took care of ordering the paint.
The day of the session finally arrived, and it was the sweetest experience to be a part of. Romulo's main request was that their baby girl could be part of the reveal. We spent the first half of the session taking maternity pictures, and the second half was dedicated to the reveal. This has been one of my favorite sessions by far, and I was truly honored to be chosen for it. Now, our little girls are friends and even had a play date last week.
